The DES-F1006P-E is a Plug-and-Play device that requires no configuration, so setup is simple and hassle-free. Easily connect multiple computers, share files, music, and video across your SOHO network, or even create a multiplayer gaming environment. 802.3x flow control on each port minimizes dropped packets when the port’s receiving buffer is full, giving a more reliable connection for all connected devices. The DES-F1006P-E also features four 10/100BASE-TX ports that support the IEEE 802.3af/at Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) protocol, supplying 15W each.

Diverse Operating Modes

The DES-F1006P-E switch has three operating modes. The default mode has a transmission distance of 100 meters. VLAN mode prevents against DHCP deception, broadcast storms, and virus attacks. Extend mode supports an extra-long transmission distance of 250 meters at 10Mbps, and Quality-of-Service (QoS) mode customizes application priorities for uses such as Video.
